About Us
Meet the Founder
Our founder, Emily Nelson, is a pet and nature enthusiast. Emily got the idea for this business while working at a veterinary hospital. She found a need for a solution to the odors that are faced on a daily basis. This drove her to find that solution and create great smelling candles to swiftly extinguish odors in veterinary exam rooms. When she is not working on perfecting her craft, Emily enjoys spending time with her dog Bucky and her Fiancé, Aaden. Together, they enjoy being on the water, going to the dog park, and creating new memories.
Mission
Here at The Buck Eye Candle Company we understand the less enjoyable parts of pet ownership- the bad odors! Our candles are made with a special blend of waxes to ensure your candle has a long burn time, produces no fumes or toxins, and eliminates bad odors. We use all natural materials and a specially formulated wick to create the best possible burn with clean waxes. Our chemical additive for odor neutralizing properties is phthalate free and envelopes bad odors on a molecular level- and of course, it is pet safe! We strive to create fast-acting odor neutralizing candles that smell great, so you can get back to loving your pet and giving them the care you know they deserve!
Meet the Inspiration
Bucky is a sweet Australian Shepherd who loves to play frisbee, go swimming, and play at the dog park. There is never a shortage of muddy paw prints, wet kisses, and furballs whenever he is around. Bucky's favorite snack is cheese and will do just about every trick in the book if he thinks you will give him some. He inspires us to be more energetic, caring, and adventurous every day.
